warcraft action figures

Collectors are available in all stripes, people that  genuinely have a love for what they are  making collections, people who just love the chase of being able to complete a collection, and people that hope their investment will sometime completely pay down.  One doesn’t need to be  one of several  millions of players of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures.  The younger fans though, or the young in mind, may have a hard time resisting the urge to consider  the warcraft action figures of these box.  The slightly older players will  discover the  warcraft action figures coming from of He-Man figures sold while in the 80’s.

You will find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft II.  They are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Advanced (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics).  Outside of these companies, DC Direct has made the largest line of figures, 25 miniatures including deluxe figures, through 2009.

Blizzard, the business behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only released 5 miniatures.  They’re Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.

Toycom has released six miniatures all from Warcraft 3.  SOTA released only 3 figures which can be: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.

DC Direct released its first compilation of warcraft action figures in 2007.  This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, including a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series with the end of 2009.

As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, aquiring a mint toy collection can be a nice investment.  Those brand new to WoW, but looking for the next “hot” collectible, might want to look into these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for most subscribers, over 11 million.  With many followers worldwide it’s likely a market will exist in the foreseeable future for all those collectors who made it possible to purchase the warcraft action figures now and hold onto them.  And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures will not be currently being produced in higher quantities and sold in retail outlets.
